Bug fix

MineGeo 1.0.6.1 Bug fix

This patch improves loading, navigation, and map browsing:

  • Faster loading: Map and server data load in parallel, and the homepage no longer waits for leaderboard results.
  • Map fixes: Restored the Minecraft font on map cards, improved long-title wrapping, and added route-specific loading states.
  • Navigation and accessibility: Improved mobile navigation and added keyboard skip-to-content across the site.
  • Visual fixes: Improved light-mode contrast, fixed spacing between staff cards, and updated the status link to status.minegeo.site.

MineGeo 1.0.6 Beta β€” Void Update

The hardest expedition yet, more control over custom challenges, and release notes right on the site. πŸ˜„

  • Void difficulty: Take on 10-second rounds with an End-purple glow, a fixed panorama and map, no zoom, compass, or coordinates, and strict scoring. Available in solo, multiplayer, and tournaments.
  • More custom settings: Control guess-map panning and countdown visibility, and choose timers from 5 to 600 seconds in 5-second steps.
  • Changelogs: Read release history on the new Changelogs page. It automatically reads release webhook posts from Discord news and removes role mentions and the play-site footer.
  • Control fixes: Fixed keyboard access and Enter-to-pin on restricted maps. Disabling map panning now also blocks movement through zoom gestures.
  • Display fixes: Improved release-note bullet formatting and kept navigation readable in English and Russian.
  • Deployment fixes: Status checks tolerate temporary network failures and cannot mistake an older successful build for the new release.
Beta

MineGeo 1.0.5 Beta β€” Changelog Update

A few fresh updates make it easier to meet players and get a tournament started. πŸ˜„

  • MineGeo Community forum: The site now links to the MineGeo Community forum, with spaces for announcements, maps and creations, finding players, tournaments, and help & feedback.
  • Start a tournament from a map: Use the tournament button on a published map to open tournament setup with that map already selected.
  • Tournament timer fix: Shared time limits now stay consistent across all five mini-rounds, including when the configured limit exceeds ten minutes.

MineGeo 1.0.4 Beta

This beta brings community tournaments, more ways to shape each challenge, and a livelier MineGeo. πŸ˜„

  • Tournaments: Create a scheduled event on a published map for up to 32 players. Each tournament round has five mini-rounds; follow the final standings and see the latest winner featured at #1 on the global leaderboard for seven days.
  • Event alerts: Organizers can opt in to a Discord news announcement 15 minutes before their tournament starts.
  • Custom difficulty: Set the timer, panorama zoom and panning, compass, coordinate display, guess-map zoom, and scoring strictness.
  • Map community: Like or dislike maps, comment with an account, and report comments or accounts. Moderators can remove comments.
  • Fresh visuals: A first-visit animation and a 30-second site trailer featuring real MineGeo screenshots.
Beta

  • Improvements & fixes: English and Russian support for the new features, reliable comment and report pagination, and a fix for the missing community database tables.
